Sculptures by the Sea – Cottesloe Beach 2017
The 13th annual Sculptures by the Sea will be held from the 3rd – 20th of March this year at Cottesloe Beach.
78 pieces of art will be sprinkled across the beach’s white sand from the groin, towards North Cottesloe and the surrounding grassed areas.
The 78 artworks are from artists across 16 countries including Spain, The United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, Slovakia, Greece, Israel, India, China, South Korea, Japan and New Zealand.
Western Australia artists have 30 entries including 8 first time artists.
A fan favourite from 2014 was a 15m wide bright shiny silver goon bag, not to be repeated this year will feature a huge 4m x 2m crushed can.
