Hyatt Regency East Perth – Massive Redevelopment plans submitted to council
The owners of the Five Star Hyatt Regency located at 99 Adelaide Terrace plan to redevelop one of the largest land holdings in East Perth. Plans have been submitted for a three-tower residential and commercial redevelopment of the site including the refurbishment of the existing commercial space and construction of a new podium.
The plan also incorporates a new shopping and dining district which will be a big boost for residents in the East end of Perth CBD.
The site owners have appointed Bates Smart architects to design the redevelopment which has been in planning since 2010.
The developer commented in their annual report “The proposed development when completed shall increase the retail space, activate the centre with street engagement and innovate the space with modern retail concepts and family entertainment, making it a prominent destination”.
